My heels kick up sod as I walk from the goose neck-
I ride feathers of a cast iron gargoyle.
Inside I crawl through stares and vines of yellow beams.
I become a vagabond as the keeper of time watches my guilt. Observing through the porthole: Clouds become mattresses. Stained like pennies on asphalt.

My legs feel like the spare baseball mitt.
A blue-grey caterpillar hangs near
my eyes-
sucking from sand castles that form around the keyhole.
I blink to form wrinkles.
The indicators on my limbs track as if they skipped with my existence.

The bell lost its scent
after the musk of termites
ran red rover.
The split of iron carried across the bell.
Marble lied near the ties of a specimen.
White enclosed
the crystal blue
pool of water.
